About the event

Join us at the Playford Civic Centre between 1:00pm and 4:00pm to build confidence in safely boarding, travelling on and disembarking from an Adelaide Metro bus.

Staff will guide participants through each stage of a public transport journey.

Attendees can:

  • Learn about safety, ticketing, journey planning, travelling with mobility devices and accessibility features.
  • Speak with Keolis Adelaide customer service officers about train travel.
  • Experience public transport through a virtual reality (VR) headset to help build confidence in using the network.

The event is free and open to everyone, including people living with disability, older persons, and individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Registration is recommended but not essential. Drop-ins are welcome.

This event is hosted by Adelaide Metro in partnership with Feros Care, Torrens Transit, Keolis Adelaide and Guide Dogs SA/NT.
