Support Coordination
Helping you understand your NDIS plan and coordinate the right supports to achieve your goals.
Helping you get the most from your NDIS plan
What is Support Coordination?

Guide Dogs SA/NT clients can access Support Coordination through our partnership with Guide Dogs Victoria. Their experienced team has more than 10 years’ experience helping people confidently understand and use their NDIS plans.
A Support Coordinator’s role is to guide you through your NDIS plan, help you connect with the right services and supports, and empower you to feel confident managing your plan.
Support Coordination is funded by the NDIS, so if it is included in your plan, there is no extra cost to you.

Practical and personalised support
How can Support Coordination benefit you?
Support Coordination helps you get the most from your NDIS plan in a practical, personal and empowering way.
Your Support Coordinator will:
- Take the time to get to know you and your goals
- Help you understand your NDIS plan and use it effectively
- Connect you with the right service providers
- Assist with organising appointments, bookings and service agreements
- Build your confidence and skills so you feel more in control of your supports
- Help you explore community, mainstream and funded services that support your goals
As part of the Guide Dogs team, our Support Coordinators have specialised knowledge in supporting people with low vision and blindness, paired with the same care and commitment you can expect from all our services. You can communicate with them in a way that suits you by email, phone or video call.
If your goals extend beyond Guide Dogs services, your Support Coordinator will help you connect with the right supports.
