About the event

Sleep heath can be hard to maintain for anyone these days. From busy lives to the neighbour’s cat that just won’t be quiet, it sometimes feels like the world never stops. This is made especially hard when you are experiencing low vision or blindness, due to heightened sensitivity from other senses.

In this group session, we explore why people with low vision and blindness are more susceptible to sleep pattern disturbances and share ways to beat restlessness that go beyond the typical ‘close your eyes and count sheep’.
