We are Australia’s Most Trusted Charity – We received this great honour via Readers Digest who asked their readership which charity they felt were the most trustworthy.

The money that you donate stays in SA & NT, we don’t distribute funds elsewhere and even though we are a national brand, our fundraising stays local.

We have been providing Guide Dogs throughout South Australia for over 50 years, making us the original provider. This long history means our Guide Dog training is exceptional and very well-established.

We pride ourselves on quality, with internationally accredited Guide Dog Mobility Instructors, focused purely on improving the quality of life of people living with a vision impairment.

We are the only provider of Autism Assistance Dogs in South Australia, and if you haven’t seen what these highly trained dogs can do for families of children living with autism please check out this video – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVuhie4fya8&feature=youtu.be

Whilst our Guide Dog program is widely recognised in the community, the organisation also provides a range of other invaluable services such as; Autism Assistance Dogs, Pets as Therapy Dogs, Orientation & Mobility, Occupational Therapy, Hearing Services and Complex Case Management.

A very small amount of money is spent on advertising – whilst it is important to make sure people know about us, we don’t spend your donations on elaborate television, radio or print campaigns.

With your donations, we change lives. You can read about all the wonderful testimonials of people whose lives have been changed because of your support in our Paw Prints Newsletter.

We are open and transparent, if you want to ask us anything else, please do!

I need help

I thought that the room was really dark, but actually it wasn’t the room, it was me.

I know that I will be fine because if I need help, I have Guide Dogs to turn to.
