About the event

Build Confidence in Your Relationships and Communication
A Practical Workshop Series to Strengthen Your Voice, Presence, and Connections
Want to project more confidence, connect better with others, and speak up for yourself effectively? This three-part workshop series is designed to help you build the skills that support stronger relationships and clearer communication in all areas of life.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to be fully present and engaged in conversations
- Techniques for handling challenging remarks with confidence and grace
- Tools to speak assertively and advocate for yourself
- Strategies for communicating clearly in group settings
Session 1: Building Stronger Connections
With Special Guest: Sheila Eime
Experienced Relationship Coach & Counsellor
Join Sheila Eime as she shares practical insights into relationship and communication dynamics. You’ll explore how to foster deeper connections, be present with others, and navigate difficult conversations with confidence and empathy.
Session 2: Finding Your Voice
With Special Guest: Robert Elliot
Professional Voice Coach
In this interactive session, voice expert Robert Elliot will guide you through simple, effective techniques to help you speak clearly, confidently, and assertively. Whether you’re advocating for yourself or leading a conversation, your voice is your power.
This session will also provide an overview of three vocal training techniques, with a special emphasis on the Estill Voice Training System. You’ll explore some simple, practical exercises that you can use daily to strengthen your vocal presence and clarity.
Bonus Session: “I Can’t Hear Him. I Don’t Get What She Said.”
Presented by Robert Elliot
This practical session focuses on becoming a more effective face-to-face communicator in group settings. The same techniques used to speak to an auditorium can help you engage multiple people at once. Learn how to project your voice and hold space, even in complex conversations.
Why This Matters:
Effective communication is especially important for people who are blind or have low vision. This workshop highlights the role of voice in building trust and clarity, and offers tools to help you feel more confident in everyday interactions.
