About the event

Kids are curious; and sometimes their questions catch us off guard. This session explores how to talk about low vision and vision loss with children in a way that’s honest, age-appropriate, and empowering. Whether it’s your own kids, grandkids, or young people you interact with, we’ll cover common questions, helpful metaphors, and creative ways to make vision difference easier to understand. Leave with resources, confidence, and maybe even a story idea or two to help explain things on your own terms.
