Plan, Prepare and Practice; Preparing for Emergencies with Low Vision and Blindness; March Empowered Living Program
Emergencies can happen anywhere and at any time. This Empowered Living Program will help you build confidence and skills to plan, know your options, and feel more ready to respond, whatever the situation.
Session 3: Exploring Other Supports and Services
Once you’ve started developing your emergency ready plan, what’s next? SES SA assists us to facilitate this session that will focus on putting your P-CEP into action and connecting with other support options, including:
- Local emergency services and community resources provided by SES
- Peer and support networks
- Ongoing ways to review, update, and practice your plan
