Two accessible voting options are available and suitable for people living with low vision and blindness:

Telephone Assisted Voting

  • Dates: 14–21 March 2026 (closed 15 March)

  • How it works: Call 1300 951 579 to register, set a secret question, and receive a unique code. Then cast your vote over the phone with a voting assistant ensuring your vote is private and recorded accurately.

In-person Voting

  • Early voting: 14–20 March (excluding 15 March)

  • Polling day: 21 March, booths open 8am-6pm

  • You will receive an Easy Vote Card in the mail in early March, containing accessibility ratings for polling locations and a unique QR code to make your in-person voting experience faster and easier.
