Join us for another Guide Dogs Social Happy Hour session!
Vision loss can be scary and overwhelming. Following a vision loss, you may feel concerned about changes to your independence and quality of life. You might wonder how you can manage many of the important tasks of daily life. Regardless of your level of vision loss, affordable and accessible solutions, tools and services exist to enable you to continue to live independently and to enjoy life.
Join us to navigate the road after vision loss and learn what services are available to support you, all from the comfort of your own home.
With the State Election coming up on Saturday 19 March 2022, a part of our HH session will focus on the voting process and assistance for accessibility.
Sally Scantlebury, the Community Engagement Officer of the Electoral Commission will be joining us to share important information about the Disability Access and Inclusion plan on the voting process.
Held via Microsoft Teams, the platform is fully accessible and can be used on your phone, computer or tablet. Each session will run for 45 – 60 minutes and will be facilitated by a Guide Dogs staff member.
